"neither side knows what the fuck they're doing"-don trump_____________dick nixon was president once and he was no stranger to porfanity...perhaps a habit he acquired in the navy ( where he was called "nick" and was known as a "good scrounge" when it came to beer )...admittedly tricky dick ws editing the bejesus out of the transcripts trying to save his political career...even so "explicative deleted" didn't help his image much back in 1973...he was demented to tape himself "for posterity" however at the time the president was profane in private...not so don...and although, again admittedly, political discourse in this country has pretty much hit bedrock in terms of both intelegence and critical thought one would expect the president to mind his mouth around reporters...on the other hand he may just be speaking the language of his base...one could see consrevative christians dropping the pretense after a couple of long island ice teas and becoming good ole boys...they'll just chalk it up to don opening up "getting real"..."so he's the first president to say 'fuck' publicly...so what"...memken's prediction would seem to have come to pass...just call him "fuck trump" in the future...now that he's gone public with it it may be time to delete it from my vocabulary.
